DEERS Solution System
Through continued research and development DEERS has refined the patent pending attachment system of Photovoltaic panels to roofing systems. Velcro(r) is now affixed to the Uni-Solar(r) PVL -136 in the manufacturing process at United Solar Ovanic. This advancement allows UNISOLAR to eliminate the sheet of Galvalum that was part of their assembly for moisture protection of the panel. The HOOK is affixed using SIKA Elastomer 68.
The LOOP is now being attached directly to the roofing system as part of the manufacturing process. Depending on the roof membrane type it is either adhered with adhesive or is added to the manufacturing process and is integral to the roofing system. Both methods insure continued warranty from the roofing manufacturer as well as aid in the layout of the project in the field.
The overall outcome is dramatic savings in field labor, savings in duration of the project at the site and ease of approval from the governing agencies.

In each application, there are similar building and construction requirements. In all our Component Daylighting™ designs, we account for various lighting, roofing, mechanical and structural requirements. It is our understanding of these issues that allows for us to deliver quality installations every time.
However, we do realize that each of our customers have different needs. Our company prides itself on customer satisfaction. This policy has resulted in our continued research and development of new Daylighting Components™. All of our components have been developed as a result of a request from our customers.
